Advanced Apply - Privacy Policy

1. Information Collected via the Chrome Extension

When utilizing the Advanced Apply browser extension, we collect strictly scoped data necessary for operation:

• User Email: We use the Chrome Identity API to securely retrieve your active email address.
• Job Posting Data: Upon explicit user execution, the extension extracts localized DOM text (job description, title, company) from the active browser tab.

2. Information Collected via the Web Platform

When accessing your dashboard at advancedapply.ai to manage application assets or generation tokens, we may collect:

• Account Information: Profile details provided during registration or login via Supabase authentication.
• Billing Data: All payment processing, tax compliance, and billing data are handled securely by our Merchant of Record, Lemon Squeezy. Advanced Apply does not store or process raw credit card information on our servers.

3. How We Use Your Information

• Extracted job data is transmitted to our backend infrastructure to generate tailored application assets.
• Your email address operates as an authentication key mapping generated assets and token usage to your dashboard.

4. Data Sharing and Disclosure

• We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data or email address to third parties.
• Data is transmitted securely to third-party Large Language Model (LLM) partners strictly for the purpose of asset generation.

5. Data Retention

Job data, generated application assets, and account histories are stored securely in our database. You maintain the right to delete these assets or request full account deletion from your dashboard at any time.

6. Chrome Web Store Limited Use Disclosure

The Advanced Apply extension's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
